When I started primary school my mom used to work in a retail store and my best friend Johnny's mom quit her job to start a catering business, both our parents said they were doing this for our future. Johnny and I had a great childhood, we went to the best schools, played with the latest toys and our parent's made sure we were "up-to-date" with the latest trends, our parents sacrifised for our happiness. 15 Years later. My mom finally got her promotion to manager this meant my family could now afford to extend our house to a much bigger house and my mom could finally drive that bigger car she always wanted and Johnny's mom... well she was a millionaire, running a successful chain of resturants in our little town and Johnny's family, let's just say they lived happily ever after..... 5 deadly questions? 1. How is what you are doing now, going to benefit your family's future? 2. Can your children carry on your legacy at that wonderful Job you're working? 3. Are your life savings going to sustain your Great-gran children? 4. Are you lying to your kids and telling them you're working for them, when you are actually doing it for yourself? 5. Who's Mom are you? Mine or Johnny's. Bonus point: We can all make excuses, what's yours?
